March 24/25 - Alexandra Palace - International Classic Car Show. Organised this year by Andrew Greenwood. A great atmosphere and enjoyable two day event was had by Mike Forman and myself (Kevin). Our two car display stand representing Capri Club International, attracted lots of attention from the general public throughout the weekend. Mike's MK2 3.0 Ghia Auto and my MK1 3.0 GT provided plenty of talking points and camera clicking. A lot of interest was also shown in the Surrey Capri Club. Many thanks to those members who came along on the Sunday and said "Hi". All in all a very successful weekend.

April 14th - Old Skool Ford Boxhill Meet. A beautiful sunny day was enjoyed by Surrey members and guests. A nine Capri convoy made there way to Boxhill from the Harrow. A packed out car park full of the regular Old Fords amongst a variety of new finished winter projects, made for good viewing. Photo's of the day can be found by clicking on the photobox link above. ------------------------------- --------------------------- May 20th - CCI National, Evesham. Seven of us made the 200 mile plus round trip to CCI HQ for this annual event. Myself (Kevin), and Gary Chapman had arranged to meet new member Nic at the Chiswick roundabout at 6.45am. Under blue skies we made our way along the M40 to our second meeting point at Oxford services. Two more members joined the convoy, with a third meeting us at the junction of the A40/A44, our six Capri rolling road block (Two MK1's, One MK2 & Three MK 3's), was on the charge to Evesham! Our seventh member was following on, about an hour behind. On arrival at Badger's Hill, CCI chairman John Hill pointed out a prime spot for us to park up and organise ourselves. The day was spent wandering around the very good turnout of Capris due to the excellent weather conditions, and having a good look around the autojumble. Some members were looking for particular spares on the day, these were duly found and purchased. Our three MK1's on show all won prizes, two gold awards and one bronze. All too soon it was 5pm and time to head back home, everyone had an enjoyable day and we all look forward to the next show.
