      Mobile Mechanic Recommendation.
 
Surrey member Gary Chapman has recently had some engine work completed on his 3.0 Ghia auto. This involved removal and replacement of the engine, core plugs renewed, high pressure oil pump fitment along with oil pump drive shaft, sump cleaned out and refilled with valvoline engine oil. This work was done by Colin Ashton of Ashton Mobile. Colin is a mobile mechanic based in Wallington, Surrey. He can be contacted on - 020 86696092
Please don't expect him to come running to your aid as soon as you phone him, as he is a busy man, but his expertise with engine building is second to none. Please mention the Surrey Capri Club when contacting Colin.

Classic Ford Car Show - Battlesbridge, Essex.
Sunday August 17th.
Names now being taken for club stand at this show.
£5 = 1 car + 2 people. Any more passengers can pay on the day.
Nice relaxed show with plenty of Fords and maybe a few American & Hot Rods on show. Autojumble as well. Refreshments / food available.
